I know that when the weather gets chillier and the days get shorter, I sometimes struggle to keep my health and exercise routine. But what better day to decide to get out there than National Women’s Health & Fitness Day? Check out the tips below to get started. Plus, our merchants have all the gear and gadgets you need to actually be excited for exercise time!

1)      Walk! Grab some comfortable sneakers, like these durable, ultra-lightweight Nike sneakers, on sale for $109.99 and get moving! If the weather’s nice, walk instead of taking public transit. If you find your energy draining after lunch, walk around the office.

2)      Develop a routine. Get into a schedule, and stick to it!  I’ve always found that going to the gym right after work works for me, as there is less of a chance of losing motivation by making a pit stop at home. Try getting a gym bag like this Nike duffle bag from Macy’s, so you’ll have your gear with you during the day. It’s water repellent, sturdy, and can also be used for weekend trips.

3)      Inhale the fresh air. No matter how busy you are, spending even five minutes outside breathing in the fresh air can have amazingly beneficial effects on mind and body. With the air getting chillier, be sure you have a warm jacket, like this North Face women‘s thermoball jacket, which is available in an array of vibrant colors and has the warmth of 600 fill-down.

The weather may be chillier, but it’s great for exercising! So get out there, and be sure to shop through K12Rewards to get everything you need, and earn cash for your school, to boot!
